Just had a great weekend romp around the Ardennes with some froggy mates and a few brits too, The journeys to and from were both from Hell though.. 12hrs each, some of that time spent sat in traffic jams, still worth it though.

Stopped at a viewing point near Bouillon, from here we could see some torrential rain approaching it just reached us as we set off.

So we took shelter on a Hotel verandah.

When the rain had passed and things were starting to dry, Chris noticed a missing circlip on the gear linkage, not a breakdown but a tiny job needing a major operation to refit the pin and secure it.

On Sunday we waved the French off on their Sunday rideout, we had boats and trains to catch so missed this sunny rideout. Sad

Yeh, I was surprised that none of the Kenties came.. they only have a few miles to the water.. We had Herts, Tyneside and Yorks represented.

There's an Alsace Rally in Aug and I'm soo tempted, I love Foreign riding especially the hilly bits of France and those Frenchies don't mess about on empty roads, just look at the traffic.. ..
