| I took two in four last year, aye the Saturday ride out was feckin cold but it was surprisingly warm late into the night standing outside with Cakey and beer and warm overnight.. Mind you it was feckin hot in the Pub..
It was just like a normal Rally plenty of drinks and laffs just missing a decent fire really.
Oh I forgot to say "I had me thermals on".

| Phil has confirmed:-
To be held at the Sloop again, Temple Hirst, just off the A19 south of Selby (near the pepperpots).
I called up there and booked the venue on Phil's behalf, yesterday despite the A19 bridge being closed..
It will be the Fri/Sat/Sun 22th 23th and 24th Feb 2019 and, ever thoughtful, Phil has pre booked some snow and ice for the weekend.

| The Route(s) for Saturday.. Kick off from the Sloop somewhere between 11 and 12, your nearest point will East Cowick/Rawcliffe DN14 9BY, Al.
On Saturday I had a look around for a decent route to Doncaster, having not been to this Café before. A good route to the Café will be:-... Fair weather:- Right out of Pub- IN Carlton T Right- IN Snaith T Left- THRU East Cowick then T Right towards Thorne. AFTER Fishlake Motors (just before M18) T Right- IN Fishlake T Left- IN Stainforth T Right THEN immediately T Right again- TO Barnby Dun then Kirk Sandall. AT A630 Roundabout (Wheatley Hall Road) T Left- AT Roundabout (100yds) T Right. Sandall Park Cafe is on the Right at the next Roundabout.
A Quick and Siimple Route:- Left out of Pub, Left onto A19- AT Doncaster T Left over Georges bridge (Flyover), THEN Left onto A630 (Wheatley Hall Road). AT 3rd Roundabout T Right, Sandall Park Cafe is on the Right at the next Roundabout.
Simple Route to J&S:- Left to Roundabout- T Left A630 (Wheatley Hall Road)- AT Doncaster (3rd Roundabout) T Right- GO over Georges Bridge- AT T Lights T Left- J&S is on the Right Hand Side (100yds)..
Good Route to Squires:- GO Left A638 Follow Signs for Wakefield- Eventually Cross The A1- AT 2nd Roundabout T Right (Wrangbrook Lane)- JUST before A1 T Left A639 (Doncaster Road)- IN East Hardwick T Right (Darrington Road)- IN Carlton T Right- IN Darrington just BEFORE A1 Flyover T Right and Keep Left for A1 North- AFTER Half a mile Keep left onto A162 (OLD A1) and Follow it to Squires..https://www.google.com/maps/@53.6861125,-0.9862244,16z[/color]

| That's also taken care of Al, They huddle together under several old bedsheets/bedspreads that reach right to the floor all around (that bit is important). Then they have a little oil heater under there, set very low. All it needs to do is keep them a couple of degrees warmer than the ambient temp so there's a noticeable but small addition to the leccy bill for a few months.
However this year It's really not been bad enough to bother..

| My bikes spend all winter in an unheated garage... I spray all the chrome and alloy parts with that bicycle protection spray stuff and they emerge unscathed every spring.... | |
