I'm not sure, but I think that using the link App from here, they have to be accepted into a private group on FB first, but your concerns are why I haven't set up the Link App yet.

As above, I'm not sure how the two things link together and how closely.

Allowing someone to post a link is just the same as them posting it elsewhere. The victims will still need to register and be accepted here (although that is set to free vend for the moment) without the App activated.

I can't deny that linking to FB will almost certainly bring in a huge following but personally I don't think it's worth it at the moment.

If there is a demand from the regular users then it can be done.

OY Very Happy lol!

I agree although it will probably get posted on FB it would be nice to keep it separate and keep the close knit feel.

TBH on the aircooled forum we have had to post a link to the forum and tell people to join, they seem to just use Faceache and not forum

ok, point taken. but amongst my friends on fb are alan carter [youngest ever 250 gp winner], garry dickinson [125 british champion], nigel bosworth [great 250 racer], stephen carr [irish real roads racer for 30 odd years] noel johnston [clerk of the course for the ulster gp], benga johannson [passenger to the late, great jock taylor], rodger wibberley [scarborough and manx gp racer] joe wright [founder of the 2 stroke racing club of ireland] and russ henley [manx 250 gp winner]. all of whom i correspond with regularly. if these are the sort of people you call saddo's and idiots then, sorry, i can't agree. Rolling Eyes
cheers, dd.
ps,and yes, i know there are idiots on there, but not on my page Very Happy

I think the idea is to attract a better class of lunatic here. That's why I joined straight away.
And anyone with 5 two stroke triples, must be less than commonsensical! Laughing
My comment was deffo tongue in cheek, but I'm sure you knew that. 👅

Couldn,t agree more DD our LC FB page in a couple of years has grown to nearly 10k members there are only us 4 admin and to be honest we don,t have to delete too much crap at all but FB has its place and I love the close knit feel of our forum.
