Whenever I have passed Squires the gates have been closed, the cafe is obviously still closed......but there are people meeting outside the gates so should be ok to meet there.

It was a cracking night but not down to me Gra down to you Rob and everyone else who fancied a meet. The only problem when there are so many folk is you don,t get to spend enough time with everyone so I hardly saw Rob but I am determined to get him and you(again) over to Delph to sample the best fish and chips in Yorkshire. Looking forward to the next one already

Sorry Artie, I wasn't trying to prove you wrong, my first thought was that I probably had it wrong.
Although I know my way around Lancs, my working areas have historically ended at the top of the Pennines So this side of the hills I can relate to local shortcuts, nooks and crannies etc right from Whitby to Boston...

Don't take it personally Artie, I only tolerate FB, they are worse than Google for following your every move on the WWW.. And even your activities, loves, hates AND your friends/relatives loves, hates outside the WWW, their activities are very underhand, some of the Government agencies and consumer groups watch them very closely. The plain fact is that they are a business and you and your lifestyle is their product.
I don't know if you can see but I only keep about 4 mates on there which generate lists of people "I should know" turning up on my home page, most of whom I have absolutely no connection with.
I've warned those 4 friends not to be offended if or when I "unfriend" them at some point.
