Is that you and the bird John?

Fifty (bleedin) years, where have they all gone?

Big one for the Triplers next year of course, I wonder if there's anything planned.

I suppose wolfie "the XT was the catalist for the Adventure bikes . [as we know them now]. have you ever seen Terra Circa,[ the real long way round], Austin Vince, and 3 others, they used xt"350 & DR350"s, reliable- light ., they said its the only way to do such a ride UNACCOMPANIED . ..I have the CD, its Eppic,, living rough, washing in streams. fixing bikes at the side of the road, [ mind your piston on the N1 france] , scratch its great film ,[1995] before the two posers,,,charlie &Uwan.

Are you meaning "Mondo Enduro"?  Or is there another one??

I was watching Mondo Enduro last weekend, I bought the DVD some time back, when I checked the sellers name he was one of the riders.. Mondo was on normal TV many years ago, long before Charlie and Ewan- and I have their DVD too..

Just googled it and Austin was a rider on both Mondo and Terra.. I'll have to look out for Terra..

As you can probably gather I just love these motorcycle adventures, I'd much rather be doing it than watching though, if you've ever done the mountains of europe on a bike I reckon you'll know why.

Aha! Both journeys now come in one DVD set..

Terra Circa is only half the distance of Mondo, a mere trip to the shops...

Sorry for the late reply,, yeh, Tera Circa was the first,,[ i think] . brave lads tho , that trans-siberia railway journey was epic , they followed the train , and when one of the riders got hooked by barbed -wire , and threw him, ,they then boarded the train with bikes, [ like charlie & Co,],,, .i have 2 copies of Terra circa, i must get them back . loaned ,and never got them back,,
